  Chapter One

  Risa Channing tipped the cab driver, gathered her leather coat around her and pressed the brass knocker on the heavy, carved wooden door. She did her best to tamp down a sudden flutter of nerves as the door to Club Fantasy swung open. She stepped into the warm, paneled reception area and tentatively smiled at the woman standing there.

  “Hello, Lila.”

  The two women had met when Risa filled out her membership application and took her on a tour of the dungeon.

  “Welcome, Risa. We’re so pleased you’ve decided to join us.”

  Risa nodded, hoping she’d be just as happy by the end of the evening. Unsatisfied for a long time with the Doms she’d played with—and the ones she’d had unfortunate relationships with—she hoped that she’d find here what she was looking for. More than that. What she’d craved.

He spotted her and stood, his hand extended, a smile on his face.

  “Good evening, Risa.” He lifted her hand and kissed her knuckles. “We’ve been waiting for you.”

  The man sitting next to him rose, and immediately, Risa felt her thong dampen even as her mouth went dry. Like Ruelas, he appeared taller than he was his shoulders broad, and his chest and abs hard and flat, with a sexy dusting of dark hair.
